Sarah Henderson

Sarah Henderson is a St. Louis native now based in Nashville. She got her start posting cover songs online, a pursuit that led to countless late nights writing original lyrics of her own.

In 2022, right as Sarah was first beginning to write her own songs, she caught the attention of Grammy winner and Songwriters Hall of Fame legend Rodney Crowell. He took the blooming artist under his wing, inviting her out west for his Airline Highway tour. Now back from her debut tour, she’s focused on writing, performing, and booking the next run of live dates.

Now, Sarah writes lyrics that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable. Inspired by Joni Mitchell’s imagery and Lizzy McAlpine’s emotional vulnerability, she prioritizes storytelling and genuine connection with listeners, pairing reflective lyrics and lingering melodies. With a steadily growing audience, her honesty and warmth continue to resonate with her fans.
